A recent article presented in the Society of Women’s Health Research e-newsletter highlighted an article presented in the American Physiological Society’s American Journal of Physiology about obesity and conception. In short,the article highlight’s a study by professionals at the Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center which found correlations between maternal obesity and the genetic susceptibility of offspring to also be obese (especially in infancy).
